Which new Chevy Truck is right for you?

Should You Drive the Chevy Silverado 1500 or Chevy Colorado ? We're Here to Help You Get the Right Truck

At Dave White Chevrolet, we understand that buying a new truck is a big decision. The options can seem endless in today's market, and sometimes the prices can be shocking. Don't worry, we have experienced staff to help you find the right truck for you in Toledo.

Mid-Size Or Full-Size?

There are two main options when looking for a pickup truck in the Sylvania area: midsize and full-size. We offer both at Dave White Chevrolet, the midsize Colorado and the full-size Silverado. Which one you decide on should be based on your needs. A Colorado can easily carry you and your friends for a weekend camping trip. If you know you're bringing the dogs or some bikes, the Silverado might be more what you want.

The Colorado features room for five with a little over 45 inches of leg room up front and about 35 inches in the back. The Silverado offers seating capacity for up to six, with about 45 inches of leg room in the front and around 43 inches in the back. If you have a lot of tall friends in Perrysburg , you might want to go for the full-size truck.

What Are You Hauling?

Whatever you need to tote around Maumee, here are the numbers you need to know. The bed size and weight capacity are often key factors in your chosen truck. The Chevrolet Colorado has a five-foot-long bed that is just shy of four feet at the wheelhousings, meaning a standard four-by-eight sheet of plywood would ride on top of the wheelhousings. The Silverado has a nearly six-foot bed with more than four feet of space between the wheel housings. You could fit a standard four-by-eight sheet of plywood flat in the bed, although you would have to put the tailgate down.

Weight capacity is another issue. A few bikes in the back while you and some friends head out to the trails don't weigh much. The tools of your trade probably start to add up quickly. Depending on options, Colorado has a max payload of 1,423-1,836 pounds and a towing capacity of about 7,700 pounds. Depending on options, the Silverado boasts 1,590-2,290 of payload and 8,900-9,500 of towing capacity. No matter what you're carrying around Bedford, we have the truck for you.
