13abc, The Salvation Army and Dave White Chevy are coming together once again to help families in Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio through the Hope for the Holiday Toy Drive Campaign. After a socially distanced 10th anniversary drive last year, we're doing it up big again in 2021, while still offering online donation alternatives for those not comfortable going to a store or dropping off in person.

 Our family has been in the car business for a long time and the only way that has been possible is because we have been able to show our Toledo, OH customers that they are more than just a car sale to us. Ever since the White family entered the automotive world in 1914, we have been committed to a tradition of service in the community. It makes sense to us that we should take every opportunity to give back to the Perrysburg, OH customers who have allowed us to do what we love. Some car dealers may be happy to sell a car, truck, or SUV to a customer in Temperance, MI and have the interaction end there. That has never been the case for Dave White Chevrolet. The community involvement we are involved in has taken us down some interesting and fun paths. For example, every year we take part in the Toys for Tots program around the holiday season to make sure that children who are less fortunate can still have a Christmas. We have also partnered with 13 ABC for Big Board Fridays during the high school football and basketball seasons. This helps bring local high school football and basketball coverage to many folks in the Toledo, Sylvania, and Perrysburg areas. It gives us a thrill to get involved with folks in the community and provide joy and assistance where we can.
